Intermarine initiated as a trading company in early 1970 at Tanjong Pagar with an office cum showroom supplying marine/ boating equipments and accessories.

After several years of rapid growth, the company was incorporated into a private limited company in 1974. Since then it has developed and diversified its business with good foresight and long term planning, and through continued expansion it is now relocated at a larger premises in Tuas, Jurong Industrial Estate.

The Company possesses several sophisticated machineries capable of manufacturing and testing wire rope slings and lifting gears. Presently, it extends its services to the shipping, shipbuilding, offshore, oil exploration, transportation, aircraft, logging, crane and construction industries including various government departments and statutory boards where lifting gears and lashing systems are needed.

In addition to the manufacturing of wire rope slings and lifting gears, the Company also represents several established and reputed manufacturers worldwide as agents for steel wire ropes, anchors, chains, fibre ropes, container fittings, lashing materials, rigging hardware, marine equipments, life saving apparatus, etc.

In today’s competitive market place, Intermarine has undoubtedly gained considerable recognition for its firm commitment to manufacture and supply products that meets quality requirements to satisfy customers’ expectation through prompt and reliable services.

To further acknowledge its commitment in providing quality services, Intermarine and its subsidiary Riggings & Gears Testing Centre, a leading and reliable company testing for wire ropes & lifting gears, are proud for the achievement of DNV ISO 9002 certification on 1^st December 1995.

To expand our wider range of supply and services to the oil/gas industries and offshore oil drilling, Intermarine has established ‘IMCO Holdings Pte Ltd’ a new subsidiary company specializing in oilfield equipment and spare parts which has also achieved the D.N.V. ISO 9002 certification for its quality services assurance. The Company and its associates have a team of capable management personnel and staff reaffirms the Company’s policy in providing reliable, efficient and prompt services at all times.
